Caption: Date: 1969-10 Location: Nepalganj, Banke Description: Royal Nepal Airlines Corporation (RNAC) place (right) is taking off past the wreckage (left, across the runway) of an RNAC plane that had crashlanded at the airport earlier in the year (May). The crashed plane had damaged its landing gear on an attempted landing in Surkhet and had returned to Nepalganj to attempt a landing on its belly. On landing, the plane turned sharply to the left shearing off both engines, but no one was hurt.
