A head Lama from "the north" visited Hile. He conducted a significant ceremony, here at the front of Hile's Buddhist temple. He arrived with a large procession and with great fanfare. He spoke only Tibetan. Hile's head Lama is on the left, background (reddish top); he referred to the visiting Lama as his superior.
