He is in the center left, wearing the tall red hat, and is under the umbrella. Hile's main lama is to the right, foreground, with cymbals, in front of the man playing the clarinet. The visiting Lama conducted a significant ceremony at Hile's Buddhist temple. He arrived with a large procession and with great fanfare. He spoke only Tibetan.
