Caption: Date: 1971-04 Location: Goganpani, Dailekh Description: View of construction of the western towers and anchor of a kuchha 120' span over the Bhairi River showing 12' towers and an cable-spooling anchor mechanism made completely of wood. The bridge crossed Bhairi River just south of the point where it joins the Prajuli River which can be seen in the background. No concrete was used in construction of the anchor. Surkhet Peace Corps Volunteer Bob Davis, who volunteered to help out on this construction, is seen at the center.
