Caption: Date: 1970-11 Location: Rawutkot, Dailekh Description: View of the interior of the half-completed southern anchor of the Chamghat River suspension bridge. Twin pulley wheels are attached at the near end of ½” steel rods that are bent back on themselves and attached to steel plates behind two steel I-beams. The rods are angled back towards the rear deep edge of the anchor at the same angle at which the cables were to meet the pulley wheels for tightening.
