Caption: Date: 1969-10 Location: Nepalganj, Banke Description: Wreckage of a Royal Nepal Airlines Corporation (RNAC) place resting on the western side of the runway after crashlanding perpendicular to the runway earlier in May. The crashed plane had damaged its landing gear on an attempted landing in Surkhet and had returned to Nepalganj to attempt a landing on its belly. On landing, the plane turned sharply to the left shearing off both engines, but no one was hurt.
