Description: The monsoon takes a toll on the country's roads and trails. To travel in the remote areas of Nepal meant to go by trail. When rainfall washed out the main trail into Bharse, the entire village worked on its repair. Village girls and school students brought loads of mud and stone to the washout while the local masons worked on reconstructing the washed out trail.
