Description: Holi celebration at Bharse High School. Standing in the back row from the right are Dhan Bahadur Gurung, school Headmaster, Khem Raj Shrestha, primary teacher and Narayan Pundit ji, Sanskrit teacher. Holi honors the god Chuschna and his flirtation with the young girls of Nepal. Everyone dresses in white and carries packets of colors which are thrown on each other. The day ends with songs, drinking and dancing.
