Description: Dead elephant, close to the jungle. The word was that this elephant was once part of the royal group of elephants and it was released to the jungle. It was known by local villagers - it had a name. There was a fight with another elephant and this one died. Some blood evidence just under the neck. It is not known if this was an accurate account. It is also not known what happened to the tusks afterwards; district officials may have been involved to deal with that issue. The body of the elephant was said to have been buried.
