Caption: Date: 1967 Location: Biruwa Guthi, Parsa Description: The boy's name is Buduwa. The panchayat house is in the back. The mud-straw walls from shed on right side of the house were constantly being eaten by cows. The fence was put up by two Peace Corps Volunteers, who lived in the house, to keep the cows from eating the walls. The U.S. Ambassador to Nepal (Carol Laise) and the U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam (Ellsworth Bunker) slept in this shed on a honeymoon visit to the village in early 1967.
