He was an agricultural extension agent, and was a coworker with a Peace Corps Volunteer who lived and worked in the panchayat. He was from the eastern Terai, where his wife and family remained while he worked in Biruwa Guthi panchayat. On occasion his wife and family joined him in Biruwa Guthi. The ball she is holding may be one that the Peace Corps Volunteer had; it was not a common item in the village.
