Caption: Date: 1967 Location: Biruwa Guthi, Parsa Description: Farmer and son with moldboard plow, both with sticks used to control the bullocks. Several moldboard plows were purchased in Birganj and brought to the panchayat for demonstration purposes, as an alternative to the traditional (wood base - metal rod) plow used by the farmers to break up the ground in preparation for planting.
