Description: Horse and cart, in front of the sign for the agriculture research station at Parwanipur. This site developed new and improved agricultural crops and techniques that were then shared with farmers in Nepal's Terai. Peace Corps Volunteers working in the Terai used this site for training purposes. Note the Nepal/US flags on the sign in back. The horse and cart were common, serving as "taxis" on the black top road to Birgunj.
