Description: Ganesh Bahadur Deoja and his wife (center), with his wheat demonstration project. He lived just outside of Hile, toward the northeast. During the cold season, rice fields were kept fallow. Wheat was encouraged to be a winter crop for these fields. When he hit a rock plowing his field, he stopped and asked the Peace Corps volunteer who was working with him on this demonstration project if in America there were rocks ( "Americama, dhunga cha?).
