Description: A bundle of jute sticks (woody stalk remaining after soaking and extraction of inner fiber) drying in a logged clearing along a footpath, across from the only permanent teashop in Ward 8, Khoksi. (A temporary Tharu tea shop was set up each winter for a month or two.) The dried sticks were used to make very flimsy fences.
