Caption: Date: 1966-04 Location: Ilam Description: Forest Department preparing planting sites for forest plantation at Churighati, about 1 1/2 kilometers northeast of Ilam where Sakejung trail goes north. Small areas about 1 foot in diameter are dug to loosen the soil and eliminate weeds in preparation for planting a seedling. The seedlings are grown in a nursery in Ilam. Both Eucalyptus globulus and native species grown from seed collected locally were grown and planted.
