Several high school teachers. The woman in the front row is Pushpa Latta Singh, a Nepali trained in Darjeeling; she was the English teacher. One of Pushpa's aims was to encourage female high school students to attend college in Kathmandu. She worked with their families to encourage the parents to send their daughters for their further education. Two students peer over the teachers' shoulders.
