Description: A group of men, lead by the Royal Nepal Airline Palungtar Airfield Ticket Babu (far right), return from inspecting the airfield to determine whether the field is dry enough for a plane to land. In 1965 a plane landed at the beginning of the monsoon but, because the field was too wet, could not take off and was left on the ground at Palumtar Airfield for the monsoon season.
