Caption: Date: 1968 Location: Kathmandu, Kathmandu Description: Peace Corps volunteer Jim Fisher stands next to Dharani Dhar Koirala Sharma, who had been Principal at the Pharping Boarding School while Fisher was a teacher there. Dharani Dhar was one of Nepal's most distinguished poets. He was also the principal assistant to Sir Ralph Turner when he produced the comprehensive Nepali-English and English-Nepali dictionary. Turner offered to make Dharani Dhar co-author of the book, but for unknown reasons he declined the offer.
