Caption: Date: 1967 Location: Surkhet Description: A boy demonstrating a bow used to shoot hard clay balls at birds eating crops. The ball is placed in a small patch located in the center of the string, and the bow was twisted as it was pulled. This was important or the ball would hit the shooter's thumb. The boy was amazingly accurate with this. Keywords: John Greer, Nepal Photo History Project, Peace Corp Photo History, People, home life, hunter, tools
