Caption: Date: 1976 Location: Arjundhara, Jhapa Description: A former stilt house that has been modernized by enclosing the lower level with stuccoed brick walls. The house was recently wired for electrical service (see wire running to house from the pole to the right). The upper level was constructed of sal wood with galvanized, corrugated steel hip roof. Windows had a mixture of paneled and glass shutters. The lower level was still under construction.
