Description: Brass goblet in final polishing stage. Taksar was a major brass-making area in eastern Nepal. Brassware was made by the "lost wax" method. The artisan was Krishna Bahadur Kalakar. At suggestion of Peace Corps volunteers, he put his own label ("danp") on his work.
