Date: 1964-03 Location: Bhojpur Description: Old man makes bricks from local clay as two boys look on. The bricks were dried in the sun for several days but not baked. Once dry enough, they were laid directly into the wall of the house under construction and mortared with more of the same clay. No straw was used to bind them. Houses were said to last about 20-30 years at most.
