Description: The village of Kunde sits in a lovely valley an hour's walk above Namche Bazaar. The Hillary built hospital is located in the rear of the village and is identified by its long white roof. The more elaborate home in front of it belonged to Mingma Sherpa who was Ed Hillary's head Sherpa for many years. The white Stupa is in the middle front of the photo.
