Woman in the center with traditional Tibetan/Sherpa hat is Ang Lhakpa's mother. Men as usual sit on bench and are drinking both Tibetan tea and glasses of chung (rice beer). Man on left is Ang Lhakpa's brother. Ang Lhakpa's family are long time residents of Namche. Kanchha's family are recent arrivals coming from the Junbesi area of the Solu Valley at the time of his grandfather.
