Location: Mugu, Mugu
Description: The village of Mugu (about two days walk to the Tibetan border) was located in a slightly sheltered area. Plenty of good water from the waterfall (at right). A fairly flat flood plain in front provided some forage for dzos (yak-cow hybr5ids) to forage. In the morning the some of the water in the flood plain was frozen and children were running and sliding across it - on their bare feet.
