Description: Twin Otter airplane at Jumla airstrip. The airstrip was not paved at the time. A pilot had to make one pass over the strip to make certain that there were no animals or people on it. Then the pilot would have to circle around a hill at the end of the runway, losing sight of the runway in doing so and then burst out from behind the hill to land at the end of the unseen runway.
