Description: Lama from Thame - considered by many of the Sherpas at the time to be a more sacred monastery than the one at Thyangboche - performing a 3 day house blessing ceremony in the chapel of Kanchha and Ang Lhakpa home. Three lamas read scripture and chanted from before sunrise until late at night. Payment for such a ceremony is one of the ways Sherpas support the monasteries and monks.
