Description: Man carrying brass water jugs. Patan is an area of extensive production of brass utensils. The water jugs are made by fashioning the bottom out of a single piece of brass heated and pounded into the desired shape, and simlarly creating the top piece and then each top and bottom have small - half inch - flaps of brass which intertwine and then are heated and pounded together.
