Description: Bhanu High School teachers in the back row; tenth grade students (two standing) in the first two rows. Tenth graders were seniors. Teacher second from left is Krishna Bhai Pradhan. Krishna Bhai went on to earn a Ph.D. in linguistics at the University of Wisconsin. He and his family opened a very popular Nepali restaurant in Madison, Wisconsin. The second girl from the right is Chandrakala Thapa, daughter of Gurkha Major Narbahadur Thapa. Six years later Chandrakala married Peace Corps volunteer Roger Cranse, who took this picture.
