Description: Brahmin (Bahun) girl waiting on the Pokhara airstrip for a plane to arrive. The only building abutting the airstrip is the small white Royal Nepal Airlines office to the left of her head. She stayed in the middle of the airstrip until a hand-cranked siren signaled an incoming plane. As soon as the DC-3 rolled to a stop she would run out and circle around it, waving to the pilot.
