Description: Big crowds from all over Kaski District at one of the maidans (large open public area) in Pokhara during the Magh Mela (festival). The Magh Mela is a time for ritual bathing in the Seti Gandaki, festive food and family get-togethers, and special market days. The women are nicely dressed and bejeweled for the occasion.
