Caption: Date: 1966 Location: Yaku, Bhojpur Description: Krishna Prasad Kaphle reading the Bhagavatam Purana on the anniversary of the death of Vishnu Lal Dhakal. The oldest of the three brothers, Krishna Prasad Kaphle, was the priest most in demand for Hindu ceremonies in the village. His middle brother, Bhavani Prasad Kaphle had gone to India for Sanskrit education and achieved the Sastri degree. He was the oldest master at Viswa Premi School (Yaku, Bhojpur) and taught Nepali and Sanskrit to the upper classes. His youngest brother, Parasu Ram Kaphle, had also gone to India for Sanskrit education and achieved the Upadhya degree. He taught Sanskrit and Nepali to the lower classes at Viswa Premi School, and later became Headmaster of the Kati Primary School (about 3 km. east of Viswa Premi School).
