Caption: Date: 1971-10 Location: Chainpur, Bajhang Description: Headmaster Ram Datt Awasti and his wife, at Satyavadi High School. Awasti came from Askot, across Nepal's western border in India, decades before to lead the school. He lived for decades in the top floor of the student hostel with his family. His selfless example inspired generations of students who came on foot from all over Bajhang to study at the school.
