Caption: Date: 1966-1967 Location: Biruwa Guthi, Parsa Description: Boy, with two groups of vultures in the back. It's not clear why the birds are separated in this way; it could be that a couple of cow carcasses are involved (but not seen in the picture) or that the vultures are resting. Vultures could be seen flying high in the sky and far off in the distance. When they began to circle in the sky it was an indication that they were watching an animal close to death. They were huge birds. When they landed, they took several steps before they came to a stop. When they took off they needed a runway.
