Description: Bandipur was a trading center for central western Nepal. Porters carried great loads of goods - cloth, medicine, canned food, cigarettes, buttons, kerosene - to wholesalers and retailers in this bazaar. The porters trekked for three or four days from Narayanghat in the Terai to Bandipur.
