These albums consist of images contributed by Peace Corps volunteers and a few others documenting their service in Nepal during the 1960's and 70's. Most images have annotations written by their contributor.

Jan returned to visit with his young daughter in 1976. Kepa and Tanka Lama ran a restaurant in Hile, mid-way down the main street on left side, facing northeast. They made excellent Tibetan food. The resettled Tibetans in Hile frequently traded for Western articles or received such as gifts from Westerners who trekked through Hile. Tanka's blue jacket may be one of those articles.
